Choosing the Right Health Insurance Plan

There are a number of different tiers of plans available on the Washington Health Insurance Exchange. Plans range from bare bones “bronze” plans which cover 60% of pocket medical costs to “platinum” plans which have greater coverage but come with higher premiums. In general higher premiums mean lower out-of-pocket costs and a wider insurer network of doctors and hospitals. The plans are as listed below:

Washington Health Benefit Exchange — Network Comparison

WA Health Plan Finder - Sample Network Comparison 2013.11.20A couple days ago I wrote about some of the Network Considerations to be aware of when finding insurance through the Washington Health Plan Finder.  Because having access to specific doctors and hospitals can be so important to many of us, I wanted to share this network comparison.  It shows a somewhat random sampling of doctors and hospitals in central Seattle and identifies which Exchange plans cover those providers.

WASHINGTON (AP)– The debut of the government’s health insurance marketplaces drew a big audience– and underwhelming testimonials.

This photo provided by HHS shows the main landing web page for HealthCare.gov. The government's new health insurance marketplaces are drawing lots of rotten tomatoes in early reviews. But people are at least checking the things out. According to an AP-GfK poll, 7 percent of Americans report that somebody in their household has tried to sign up for insurance through the health care exchanges. While that’s a small percentage, it could represent more than 20 million people. Hospitality Industry Property Risks: Washington Restaurant Destroyed By Fire Caused By Cleaning Towels Left In Dryer “Spontaneously Combusting”

August 11, 2013 in General

Restaurant Cleaning Towel Combustion Fires“…It was the second restaurant fire in Olympia in two years caused by towels in the dryer, and the fifth in five years to other businesses including hair salons…the cleaning towels that were left inside the dryer smolder for hours and then spontaneously combust.  The greases and oils used in the cleaning process apparently don’t all get washed out…”

Investigators have determined a fire that destroyed the Oyster House restaurant in Olympia started in the dryer, when cleaning towels spontaneously combusted. Now, they’re sending out a warning to all restaurants, hair salons, and even bowling alleys where towels are used to clean things and then washed and tossed in the dryer.

Cheap Car Insurance in Seattle, Washington

June 10, 2013 in General

One particular drawback of dwelling in Seattle, Washington has to do with automobile insurance policy. In this state the regular auto insurance policies rates are actually not just decided by an specific driver’s previous habits on the street, but by all drivers’ habits. Generally insurance businesses in Seattle, Washington set charges by tallying up all the insurance policies charges for the past 12 months and then they divvy them up by the variety of drivers on the roadways. By natural means somebody with a stellar driving record will still pay less than the individual who seems to be an unlimited source of mishaps, but the two variables do enjoy into one another to figure out rates.

What is the name of the song in the Washington Mutual commercial?

November 13, 2012 in Banking insurance

it’s the commercial where everyone does the whole “pay it forward” type thing.. it starts with a little kid dropping a toy and a guy picking it up for her.. then someone sees him do it.. and pays it forward.. and the chain continues until the end of the commercial where it goes back to the kid dropping the toy… its a really good song.. but i have noo idea what it is or who it’s by.
