Did you know that there were more than 600,000 work related injuries reported in the UK in 2010-11? But out of this number, there were only 115,000 instances where claims were made. This clearly shows that most employees are reluctant to file injury claims.
If you get injured during work, it’s only obvious that you will take some time to recover from the injury. During this time, you will still have various financial responsibilities like taxes and utility bills. These responsibilities will probably force you to rejoin work before actually being able to and this may further aggravate your injury.
