Why do so many people blame health insurance companies for the high cost of health care?

March 20, 2013 in Health insurance

Aren’t health care providers the ones charging so much in the first place? But you don’t hear too many people complaining about that.

Health insurance companies negotiate lower prices with providers. What would be in it for the insurance companies to have higher prices they would have to pay?

Shouldn’t the providers get at least as much if not more criticism?
Ed: So in other words you dont know?

I want to become a high school teacher, but the pay is low. What do I do?

March 8, 2013 in Insurance jobs and educations

I’ve been going back and forth on what career I want to pursue and I’ve come to the conclusion that out of the options I have been considering basically there is either me becoming a foreign language teacher in high school which is what I REALLY want to do and pays awful money or being something I kind of like but wouldn’t want as a long term career that pays awesome money. I’m so scared and confused because it’s not even that I want to be rich or anything, it’s just that being a teacher seriously pays SO little, I don’t feel secure if I ever had to live on my own that I could really live comfortably at all. It’s depressing. What do I do?

My blood sugar is high and I will not have insurance for another month. What can I do?

February 10, 2013 in Insurance jobs and educations

Long story short, I had to take a physical last week and they tested my urine. It has sugar in it, so they tested my blood. Came back 369!! I had eaten a PB&J sandwich and drank a soda (not a diet soda) about an hour or two before. A couple of days later I tested it again (went to someone who has a meter) and it was 309. I can’t remember what or when I had eaten prior to that reading. Since then I’ve been drinking less sodas (trying to cut out completely) and watching what I eat. I do have the symptoms of frequent urination and being thirsty. That started about a month or so ago. I will have insurance coverage in a month (just switched jobs, perfect timing!!) Any tips on what and what not to eat and drink?

high quality online video?

January 27, 2013 in General

Is hulu.com successful? I noticed that abc and cbs do not have a viable answer to them other than the content on their own websites, I am sick of those same advertisements by esurance though, lol.
