I owe 30k and absolutely do not want to file bankruptcy. I can afford to pay $900 per month but the balance just will not go down. They will not lower my interest rate either. I am skrued?

I have roughly $15K in credit card debt. Ya horrible I know. My question is If I buy a house right now could I just take out more of a loan for the house and use it to pay off those credit cards? My reasoning in doing this is to get that debt at a lower interest rate by consolidating it into a home loan. Right now I’m paying more in finance charges on these credit cards than I would a house payment.

Okay I have seriously screwed myself over with stupid decisions and I need serious help. I have… I think 4 credit cards that have been maxed out for months and owe about $8,000-$9,000 (my last question I said $10, but after thinking about it I think it should be less than $9) I make only like $200 a week and I seriously don’t know what I am supposed to do to get rid of this debt. I need serious help.

I will have about 125K of equity in new property and want to consolidate our current mortgage,car loans and credit cards.In all it would save us about $600 per month,has anyone done this before?

This would reduce monthly spend and various interest rates into one low interest payment. It would allow me to pay more money montlhly on one loan as opposed to many (5) minimum payments. I don’t hear of anyone considering this idea and wondered if it’s a good one, or not?
