I am 19 years old and have found a good deal on an ’09 Challenger , obviously this being a sports car and me being a 19 year old male my insurance rates would shoot through the roof to astronomical proportions. So my question is, what car insurance should I get if I decide to go through on this deal? I have already looked at Esurance and Progressive and have found nothing below $500, I am hopefully wanting to pay around $200-$300 if that is even possible. Please answer with suggestions about good companies or maybe even experiences where you were able to get really cheap insurance, please anything is helpful this is my dream car and I have the opportunity to seize it.

Well this may sound like a long shot, but I just recently bought my son a Ford Mustang, Now its insurance time, hes 18, gets A’s in school and has had drivers ed. Why do the quotes from Progressive and esurance estimate its going to cost nearly $500 a month, even with a 1990 honda junker it still cost nearly $400 do these prices seem reasonable, i cant recall them being that high, when i first got insurance, thanks.

If your only response is “socialism,” save your breath.
I cannot understand why anybody, other than people who make money from the current system, would be against free or cheap health care. I’ve had 3 people in my family die because they could not afford preventative health care. All 3 were hard working americans. I currently have several health issues myself. I can’t go to the doctor because I don’t have insurance and can’t afford the visit. I, like my relatives and many other americans, will have to wait to see a doctor until I am in serious danger.

Does anyone know of a cheap auto insurance company in miami? i am 20 years old and i have gotten quotes from Esurance, geico, and progressive. the cheapest was Geico and it was $278 a month for the Basic coverage.
