Question about worker fired over God button?
May 20, 2012 in Insurance jobs and educations
This Home Depot employee was fired over wearing a “One Nation, Under God” button. Companies have their dress codes and if they want their employees to display religious neutrality at their stores, as opposed to letting them flaunt their religions to the customers, it’s fine with me. However:
They fired that man because he wore a button that states “One Nation, Under God”. And yet, isn’t that what the pledge of allegiance says? And haven’t they branded “In God, We Trust” onto the nation’s money?
