Please serious question serious answers i dont need a lecture and for the peace of all let me tell my situation. My husband and I make ok money to take care of our two kids. he makes about on average 2400 a month that doesnt included the some time bonus and with the economy those are few and far between. i wanted to apply for food stamps because we have private insurance and our son came down with swine flu and the med. bill spinned out of control and then my little girl caught it so as you can imagine the med bills are out of control. I was looking to apply for like 2 mths just so we can get by with food till things get back on track. I cant just let the med bill go unpaid bc when i get my BA in accounting I have a job offer from this hospital. any info you can give how long it takes? etc…

To qualify for food stamps, there are income limitations. You are over the limit on what you can make monthly and still receive food stamps.
You may however qualify for low cost healthcare for the children. So this is something you may want to check out.
