I might be wrong, but I think esurance technically is not Car Insurance Company. They are acting as underwriters, originators of your car insurance. And as soon as your auto insurance is originating it will be sold to real Car Insurance Company. Basically what they are doing they are looking for (seemingly) best insurance for you. In reality their intention is to sell you insurance (any insurance). So doesn’t mean their quote will be the best. What I’d suggest – going online an obtaining multiple quotes from independent source. Here for instance. http://www.wisepages.com/money/insurance
