All these years and I couldn’t figure out why my eyeshadow didn’t look right no matter how many tutorials I followed. I inherited my hooded eyes from my native american grandmother. I never realized what was causing the problem. I used your technique and my eyes looks so awesome. THANK YOU!!!!!!

THANK GOD. I’m going to a prom in a couple of days, and I’m desperate to find a tutorial for my hooded eyes. This is a great.

Just a tip- this type of makeup is called “cut crease”. If you search that then there should be loads of achievable looks.

Thank you so much! I just recently discovered that my eyes were “hooded”. I am 30 and I had no idea why makeup never turned out for me. My eyes are almost fully hooded and I have low eyebrows so it is hard to find a look that works with the space I have. I will have to practice some more

thank you so much for these tips! i feel a lot of makeup tutorials kinda forget about us girls with hooded eyes and so their tips don’t always translate so well for us! great to see someone who works with that feature.

Why have u taped your forehead over one eye?
BirdOfParadise777 said on May 30, 2012
I wish you wouldn’t have raised your eyebrows up so high at the end, it kind of defeated the purpose. The pictures at the end didn’t match, the eyeshadow wasn’t as dark.
I was really looking forward to the end result. You didn’t have your eyebrows raised up that high at the beginning, so, it didn’t seem like a thing you normally do. Just wondered why you did it at the end, that’s all. It’s just that I don’t want to have to walk around all day holding my eyebrows up! lol
